Yet another stupid triple CD mix is released.
First off, it's too slow. No one who actually listens to hardcore plays it at that speed.
Second, with the exception of the first cd, more than two thirds of the songs are by the artist who mixed that cd, so we are assualted with an assload of Dougal & Gammer tracks and Sy & Unknown tracks. This makes the entire cd sound like the same thing over and over.
MIX UP YOUR STYLES!!!!
Thirdly, Most of the songs on the third disc were already released in other 3cd compilations!
Best of hardcore ALLL the way up to 2009? I already heard some of these songs last christmas on club land 4 and this summer on true hardcore 2.

This compilation is a mass marketed money maker at best. It's designed for commercial play, and the 1 upping of the already massive record labels.
I say listen to your fellow dj's mixes here on happyhardcore.com and leave Ministry Hardcore The Classics for all the chavs.

I have Helter Skelter- United in Hardcore which had the same mid 90s Hardcore tracks by the same artists which is why I didn't buy this compilation! I don't see the point of having a 'classics' comp when everyone has already got those tracks! Try other tracks that have never mdae the spotlight!

How did you get this cd so quickly? I live in America too, and it takes a good two weeks for a cd to get to me from the UK.

thing is, is that ministy of sound never claimed that this was anything other than a mock up scheme to make dough off of a growing money pot.

you just bit the bait and they caught you hook line and sinker.

To be fair Jackol if you'd have looked at the tracklist before buying or downloading it then you would have known all this already.

It's another MoS money spinner nothing more nothing less. You should be glad that a big company like MoS is at least willing to put albums out. Fcuck me I remember when you wouldn't even see a single hardcore album in the shops let alone a new release!

Are you stupid or something? The very name would suggest that almost all of these tracks have been on other CD's before.

this seems to be common with hardcore fans in the united states. they complain about mix cds not being available and having to pay so much for them, yet when one that comes out that may actually be available in a U.S. store they complain about it.

you can't carry the attitude that everything is shitty if you don't have anything to carry to begin with.

Anything between 160bpm-180bpm is fair game for a 'happy' Hardcore mix. Since the mid 90s, 170bpm+ has been the common speed for a cd mix, but it varies from DJ to DJ.

what if MoS were reading this forum and decided to sue you for stealing their product? they did after all buy banner space.

you'd be surprised as to who reads this message board, since it is after all the largest and most popular hardcore web forum in the entire world.

and that's a big place.

I said almost all of these tracks have been on other CD's - I never said they where classics. And just because a track has not been released it doesn't mean it's not a classic.

If you look at what I quoted properly, and what my reply was, I think you'll find that I never said the word "classic". You stated that Most of the songs on the third disc were already released in other 3cd compilations - I didn't say anything other than that...but I did call you stupid.

the thing is, is that you didn't buy it. you didn't support the artists on the cd, and you didn't support ministry of sound by making your purchase.

pretty much by not doing those things, you kinda lose the right to bitch about it.

you can be unhappy and kick yourself in the ass for consuming space on your hard drive and whatever else tagged along with it to pollute your computer with something that you did not like or appreciate, but i'll tell you one thing:

more people on this board will probably be offended and give you a rash of shit because you stole it rather than over your opinion of it.
