Cheers for clearing that up Andy. I can't wait till it kicks off again m8!
I feel like my production has improved since the last comp & I used different vocals than everyone else last year & all the hard work counted for nothing so i'm raring to go!

I'd say anyone who was here in the days of Simon's goats, Mouse, Strychnine & Toxic, the STFU stick and back in the days when Simon and Stevie C posted more than once a year!
PS: I wasn't there, I've just been told all about it a million and one times by Stevie, so I know large parts of the story

Everything changes, the chat is not the same anymore either. It's only like Silver, Sami and myself left from the old skool chat days. :|

I had a different username from this one for a year or two... So i've been here since about 2004... Does that constitute me as an old skool member? LOL
People come and go - the people that stay are the important ones.
The noobs that post numpty shit will move on and get bored... This forum especially goes through huge phases is being good and bad.
It's bad right now... But it'll get better. It's been really bad in the past at some points... You can't really escape it so just try to ignore it.
Lots of the old people don't post topics anymore.
So only advice i can give is stop complaining, deal with it, leave, or be proactive about it.
Sitting there complaining and waiting for it to change isn't the right way to go about it.
I'm not having a go, just giving my 2 cents.

People come and people leave, people grow up and there are always new people, you can't expect everyone to be on the same hardcore IQ level.
The main reason for the changes you might see is promotion we are doing for the shop at the moment is spilling over onto the main site and radio which is good, sure it brings noobies and it is what hardcore needs ATM, fresh blood. Nothing wrong with noobies we were all one once and its upto the older members to help out the new people :)

Although im the oldest active member (besides silver of course) i was never around for this golden time that people seem to talk about. But recently the topics have been a bit annoying i only really read ones started by people who i know nowadays.

Yeah, I agree Andy. It makes things seem even worse when we start talking about it! Its not going to do any good!
Also, if you forgot passwords of old usernames & want them back, i'm sure Silver could help you out there

I'm so old I will be buried here. As Silver says everyone was new once...I stood at Tribal gathering 93 trying so hard to be a raver from indie kid. The gloves, Green Dugarees from garden festival wales cut off at the knee, purple t-shirt, whistle dummy. The morning after I realized I was only a raver if I believed it. The hardcore tent was an acre large and Darkness was in full throw, Jungle still hadn't really split away yet. I kept thinking where is the Love they all talk about. Then I found the Techno tent via the Cinema and Dune and found I belonged. A plaited red head gave me some water. A Crusty Dad hippie and wife watched on, we all belonged.
I thought I had missed the best days yet I saw Prodigy live, I saw Ratpack in Bournemouth, and Wales was only just coming alive to Hardcore. The Free party scene and Wales rocked my world.
I left Aberystwyth and arrived in Brussels, I drank and was bored. Became an office Clerk and found a New Home here on this site. Sometimes Families and homes go through ups and downs however home is always the place you return to and for me that is HHC.com
We lose Mouse, we lose Strychnine and we lose Daveo!!
But Silver is here, Wisphering is here, Underloop is here, Brain K,
plus gaining kathryn, Influx, Jay-Owen and da wings MC..
I am not going to name everyone, you get the score. All only to be found on this site.
If you are bored, you dictate the posts like now. Look else where. Me..I am sticking around.
When you want to come home I will be here waiting.

Carl Cox was excellent as well back when he was Hardcore godfather along with Slipmatt.
Dave Angel's set was excellent.
