Sorry i do love this forum but it's gotta be said. The majority of posts have been so full of shit lately & it's all getting very boring. It's gone downhill loads lately. The regular people (You know who you are) don't seem to want to post or start topics as much as they used too. The same sort of topics are posted over & over again. I used to post lots of replies everyday, now i find it hard to even post anything due to the shitty posts. Maybe other old skool members feel the same & that's why they don't post as much? I have no problem with new people wanting to join but please post something useful or unabusive. Didn't somebody say about making this an invite only forum the other day? Sounds like a good idea to me. May even stop the trolls.
Anyway sorry for the moan. Am i right or wrong with what i said?

I'd say right, I've only started seriosuly posting over the past few weeks and all this hating isn't doing people any good. Why with all the hating, it's Christmas for gods sake!

Totally agree with you mate.
I myself am what you may refer to as one of the old skool members. I was here back in the days of Dave Murray, Strychnine, Simon's goats and the stfu stick! Lately the forum has gone totally down hill. I have to say though that as a moderator I have seen it do that in cycles anyway.
Lately tempers are flaring and threads are just getting out of control. Seriously guys its not worth it. Rule 1: Don't feed the trolls! Rue 2: If you've got nothing nice to say then don't say it (or keep it to PM!)
And finally, its nearly Christmas - if some of you buggers don't start showing some Christmas Spirit and spreading peace and love throughout the land I'm going to go round each and every one of you and kick you butt from here to Lapland!!!!!

I must say, even I, who have been in the recent conflicts, am getting seriously ****ing sick of it.
I guess it's to do with this whole 'n00bs joining the site' issue, where people come on and make a ****ing nuisance. I seriously think that it's just that (as said by Underloop) everyone is just flared up, pissed off with all this abuse getting thrown back and forth. How can we solve this?

I know i'm not what you'd call one of the old skoolers but i've been on here for nearly 2years & I tell you, it seems like i've been on here forever!
Obviously members come & go, thats the way of the forum but we've got a nice community on here now & given time, we will all become residents of the forum. I've met some great people on here & have learned so, so much along the way. The average age of the members might have shrunk but this the makings of a whole new community. Its up to us to make it ours!
Also, did I hear a mention of the Track comp again! Please, please tell me its time. The last one seems like aaaggggeeeeessss ago.

it does this in cycles...but it does seem like there have been quiet a few pointless topics as of late. I've also noticed more personal attacks on people too.
maybe it's the effects of the economy, people are turning grumpy and taking it out on forums *shrug*
