Why is it a big downer? u need to remember for every vst out there there is a Reason refill or combinator they dose the same thing, PPl always slate it cos it don't support VST's but it was never built to support them that was the whole point of it, They did it diffrent, And to be honest some of the packs u can get for reason Blow away things like Vanguard, Nexus and Many more, Just need to know what your looking for,

get reason and get the combifusion patches, most of the sound in them are jst the same as vanguard, As it was Vengeance who made vanguard, well Vengeance made patches for reason that are the same as vanguard. and to be honest some of the sounds in there are way better that the ones Ive heard on the VST vanguard.

i said i didn't doubt vanguard. Vanguard is one of the thinnest synths you can get.
YOU said that theres were synths that blew nexus out of the water. I find that hard to believe seeing as nexus is samples from a virus.
