I was sitting around listening to some old ch00ns, and `rediscovered` Elysium, and realised that it`s been almost ten years that this hardcore classic was released.

Argueably the best hardcore ch00n ever, Elysium has never had a proper remix. Plus was almost unchanged, and Return To was utter fail.

I really think it`s due time that somebody do a modern remix of Elysium.

How could I forget that!? Oh that`s right, it`s Ultrabeat...Ok, well proper hardcore remix. xD.

And give me a break! Take another listen to the piano and main melody...he RUINED Elysium.

think of it like this:

to the people that have never known of hardcore music, you could say that unless someone showed it to them that hardcore does not exist.

therefor to them, elysium, elysium plus, and return to elysium never happened.

if you didn't know of the last two remixes of the first song then to you, they never happened.

so forget you ever heard them and you'll be as good as gold.

It's a variation of Elysium, it's not meant to be a replacement. Well, if you ask me anyways. He didn't ruin anything.

Wait, I`m confused. I didn`t watch the video, becuase I just saw the name and assumed.

So Scott Brown did a remix, of a remix, of one of his own tunes?

Edit-Checked it out, not bad. A remix that`s actually worthy of the Elysium name.

Remixes arent meant to strictly be better... they're just meant to be different. Same track witha different producer's talents applied.

One might not be a massive fan of Elysium but one might love elysium (i go crazy)

Just because one person in particular likes one mix mroe than another, does not make it "better". It just means they like it more.
