Really, too high pitched? At least she isn't warped, It sounds like her natural voice.
To everyone wondering who we are talking about, it's Hixxy's latest vocalist, nicknamed LOL in Love Leaves No Scar, and also singing in these Hixxy tracks: Time Comes, Sacrifice, New Day and Perfect World.
I had found her website once, as she is a pop/rock singer in the UK, but I completely forgot her real name and can't seem to find that website again :( If anybody can help me on this, I would appreciate it!
I'm personally in love with her voice. I haven't heard CXH5 yet, but I really hope Hixxy produced more tracks for her!
I wouldn't freak out if I were you Vladel, Hixxy is probably gonna move on sometime soon, and she's probably gonna start singing for other producers, just like Vicky Fee isn't exclusive to Euphony anymore.

Umm...it's Hardcore music, the vocals generally are chirpy. I like her.

to be honest dont really rate hixxy much as a dj but what the man has done for hardcore is why i respect him and always will. remembering all them years ago on radio one him saying about his first htid event and how he was thinking it was going to pan out well its a winner and htid is at the forefront of the scene but only imo htid/raverbaby/uproar owner. dj and producer busy guy and respect him. also used to love his scratching from say 95-97 time thats when he was a good dj imo

It's true, hixxy has been there for a good while now. The only European Hardcore party i've been to was htid in the sun 07 in spain, and I was pretty blown away by the organisation of it all. Hixxy does a great job I think.
This isn't so much about Hixxy though, but more about that new vocalist he's been working with these last two years.

Her voice makes me cringe. Weak, nasal and usually accompanied by so-so production.

he should keep his happy vocalist... if the vocals are too proffessional they sound like every other vocal song. they should maintain their happy 'disney' element.

She's certainly not weak in sacrifice! And production in it is certainly not so-so either, it's such an epic stormer. I consider vocals weak when the singer isn't putting much force into it, not when it's high pitched. For example, chwynny doesn't have the strongest vocal chords, but her voice is sweet nevertheless.

You're right, this song is awesome, and her vocals are very sweet.

usually, when one pitch corrects a vocal, the sound becomes more nasally. that's one of the drawbacks of pitch correction. i can pick it out in everything and it especially sounds bad in top 40 music.

hey Chwynny, I really liked how you sang Everything's Fine too! It kinda reminded me of Unique - Distant Skies in a good way.
