New to this board, so i dont really know the protocol, but can i post my own mixes up on this board? just i'm playing a large event next year (first time playing out hardcore) and i need to know what people think of the Demo i've put together for it.
any help would be cool, if it's a fail i'll refrain and talk shite instead :)

Post up the mix, 128kbps mp3 preferably, to keep everyone honest *shifty eyes*
Either PM a tracklist for people who ask for one, or upload it as a text file to another location, as you're not allowed to post tracklists.

Ah cool mate, nice to know.
It's all on the level bit rate wise, i'll stick it straight up.
Just to let people know that i cut up loads of stuff in ableton and chucked it together for a sort of intro, apart from that tracklist is availible. ;)

Bit Rate: 128kbs

Sounds like a good solid mix. Some of it isn't to my taste but still pretty good.

Same. A lot of the tunes just weren't my sort of thing. Bit on the cheesy side of things (the Alphabeat remix swung it lol), but nice varied mix nonetheless and good solid mixing.

cheers people.
it's the HTID weekender apparently, this is my second ever hardcore mix (well happy hardcore mix, whatever) and i'm worrying because i havent got a clue what people want in respects to 'what the scene demands'
i'm blaming my mate who got me into this mess. even tho i like hardcore of all sorts - i really cant be chewed to research the whole history of dance music a third or forth time :S

there's a little more to hardcore than just putting some records together. in order to know why people like certain things in it, you'll have to do a history lesson on it since there is soooo many different kinds of hardcore out there. htid for a first gig eh?
