I'm not going to lie, I love Russia Privjet; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpQhrZnwrqM. Give it a listen.
But I've heard his stuff they play on the radio and OH MY GOD it's so bad. Like he made those 2 songs All I Ever Wanted and Now You're Gone and they sound exactly the same. Not to mention, as everyone is aware, they're just English versions of his older songs. He's just playing off of his older successes. Lame.

Nah, the closest to Hardcore would be S3RL - Pretty Rave Girl, which is a remix from Dota. ahh well people who know enough about the genre know that there are certain 'artists' who just take the mick out of our music. basshunter, rankin, scooter.
they all promote out genre with shite music and undeserved success!
It annoys me to the core.

Pretty Rave Girl isn't a remix of Dota.. Dota is a rip off of Daddy DJ.. S3RL's track is based along the same sort of idea as Daddy DJ loosely, S3RL got total permission and produced and wrote a whole new track and lyrics himself.
I just think Basshunters stuff sounds crap after a while.. The lyrics in Vi Sitter Spelar Dota are reeeeally shit... Same with Boten Anna... It's a joke... An 8 year old could write better lyrics. N u see all the silly little pop kids dancing to this stuff at dances.. They think it sounds cool cos it's in a diff language haha... But the lyrics are icnredibly shit ... Just produced over a cheesy chord progression..

"Dota is the shit man" that doesn't mean it's crap or horrible. that's another way of saying it is badass, amazing stuff like that. American slang not sure if they use it the same way anywhere else.
And it's not a surprise that ppl are voting more for it. ppl who don't know a damn thing about real quality electronic music will always vote for what they hear more of, what's popular. I was like that with trance i didn't like it unless i heard it somewhere.
