Theres a bunch of programs that can pimp out your windows. But dont know who in their right mind would want to put a bunch of useless widgets to their desktop that only pump put the resources of your PC :S Plus apparently hes using the beta of Windows 7, which is the next Windows OS.

I'm beta testing Windows 7. I haven't really tweaked much.
I got all the sidebar gadgets from here: http://www.thehobbylounge.com/forum/ I got the dock from here: http://rocketdock.com/

Actually I find them quite useful! I admit, the analog clock and the spectrum are eye candy, but I "use" the rest of the gadgets a lot.

@ the risk of causing war...........
I'm not really the biggest fan of Vista too be honest. Too much seems to go wrong with it & it doesn't seem to agree with a lot of programs i've tried to install onto other peoples PC's!
When I finally get a new PC the first thing i'll be doing is installing XP onto it straight away! I tell ya!

I think it all goes down to how you use your computer. And have to admit have on my other computer the G15 keyboard of whichs lcd display shows the mem & cpu usage (which i use lot)... But i hate all programs that run in the background hogging the resources. If i need something i want to turn it on myself and want it to shut down when i close it.

The gadgets barely eat up any resources anyway. Curretly sidebar.exe reports CPU usage at 00 with memory at 9,168k. Currently out of 3.5 GB of memory, 1.6 is used up.

Raith Rovers 1 - 0 Bayern Munich at the Olympastadion in Germany. A truely iconic image of a small team from Scotland beating one of Europe's giants in the UEFA Cup. Sadly, Tony Rougier missed at sitter to double the lead, and Bayren went on to win 2-1, and 4-1 on aggregate. Jean Pierre Papin missed a penalty that day too. Bayern went on to win the trophy that year.
That was our peak really, it's been all downhill from there.
