Hey guys,
I was wondering if there is a site or community which teaches you how to design you own sounds like bass and leads for hardcore. I'm gonna try and make my own sounds cause I just don't like using stock presets or samples. I'm currently using z3ta, V-Station and many more.
So could you guys help me out? :) Thanks.

I think you'll find that you will become best at it by learning brand new. I mean, start creating sounds without any experience beforehand, and you'll not only create your own style but also feel so much better about your music. I create chunky beast UK synths from scratch and even though they sound similar to other synths, I don't know, it has a nice feeling knowing you made it from scratch (also it took me at least two hours of screwing with buttons to create a tolerable sound the first time I tried :D).

or if you can't be assed like most producers nowadays just layer nexus with vsti presets lol

Above responses can help loads too. But if you really, really, REALLY got no idea on a program then try audiotuts.com. They don't got shit close to hardcore but they got good tutorials for starters. Goodluck!

usually use soundforge 9.0 or abode audition 1.5 load up a sample cut paste stretch nd wotever and i got my new sound :) also a way is to load a sample in your producing software nd totally change it with effects :) those ways work for me hope it works for you too.. best way is just to try nd see wots coming out
learn by playing with things ;)
