To be fair, i'm pretty sick of the opinion that everything should be groundbreaking...

I think people just need to stop having such high expectations. Not every track you hear is going to blow your mind because it's something you've never heard before.

Good hardcore is good hardcore and thats exactly what recycled is doing.

Yes there have been gabber and freeform releases on Executive, but every track still has a strong trance strings influence which has been done so many times before. They have never released a track without strings in at least some part of the track.
You look at labels like Lethal Theory, Notorious, Essential platinum, thin n crispy. They are willing to experiment so much more! You can have electro hardcore tracks, oldskool influenced tracks or just banging hardcore.
I've never heard executive experiment like these labels. I'm not saying Executive is'nt great label and the releases are'nt quality though. Because they are! They just are'nt groundbreaking.

fair enough u dont like the sounds of executive records, thats alright, not saying that you have to appreicate their sound. The best thing about music, is that everyone have differnt opnions etc. What stands out and makes a tune for one person, will make the next person hate it with a passion.

Though I been a fan of the label since the first release and even some of my favouite tunes come from the label. like they even had rock with hardcore - 'KNOW WHO I AM' is just amazing, prob one of the original labels to pull off a decent rocky hardcore style track.... and years ago...and now so many people are doing the guitar thing in the tracks. hmmm id see that as ground breaking and ahead of its time. I still play that tune and people ask me what it is and where they can get it. Though thats my personal opinion anyway.

it's not above me to expect producers to produce good music. i like what i like, i don't like recycled. i'm not going to come on here and swing off their nuts about it either. i stated my opinion and that's that. take the good with the bad, it's not like i was being cruel about it.

Not every track has to be ground breaking. But trance in hardcore has gotten so very stale. If you like every hardcore track to sound the same or similar, then that's your thing. Just don't expect to sell many units, because people get bored very quickly and move to something else.
Luna C has been saying it for years and he's right.

It wasn't directed specifically towards you. Because you don't like recycled doesn't mean it's bad (i know you didn't say that, but thats what it feels like your leading towards).... I never said anything about you - let alone you being cruel about anything...
