ok well my sisters b/f said he would trade me a xbox 360 for a computer. the 360 has been spayed painted on and everything works but the dvd drive gets hung up sometimes when opeing and its not baned. he said he just wants a computer he can go online with and listen to music, so i have a few parts laying around, and built it, it is a 521mb ram, 120 gig hdd, 128mb on board gpu, and 3.2 ghz single core. he told me that would be fine. all i have to do is find him a screen (crt lol)
the 360 comes with 2 games, one wired pad (i think), all the cables.
ive been wanting a 360 for a few years tho.
so do you think im going to get ripped of, what do you think about that deal bad or good?

this 360 has a new cooling system in it (or what he told me) ive played it a few times when he brings over it, he has so many systems ps1,2,3 xbox,360, nes-wii, all the sega's
but he has no computer xD

Yes.
They have sorted it but can you be 100% sure his is a recent model? If not you could be buggered if the warranty is over and/or he hasn't kept the receipt.

i think its a late 2008 model
if i get rrod , i myself knows how to fix it and so does he.
he keeps most of his systems like brand new, this is the only one that is not in good-ish shape. but the computer he is getting is from late '06 so its no loss if the 360 dies.
so you think i should just go for it?

lol i kinda have, i wanted some feedback on it. ive been wanting a 360 for like 3-4 years, but im young and have no money to get one xD

On my 3rd 360 now, and now out of warranty... they are great if you want to play games, it's certainly not a PC.
