as we are months behind in the UK with these shows, can anyone from the US let me know if the South park shows taking the piss out of Family Guy are worth watching?

are you talking about the episodes "cartoon wars"?

if so, they are pretty funny...the jokes they use for the family guy spoof sound like stuff that would actually be on family guy too

Simpsons>>>>>9000>>>>South Park>>FutureRama>>Family Guy>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>American Dad.

Let`s face it, The Simpsons is the best animated program since the original Bugs Bunny cartoons. And people say that now it`s too unrealistic, or that it goes to far. Well **** your cough nigga! The Simpsons have never been realistic. Have you ever rode off a cliff on a skateboard and fell 200 feet, just to have your legs broken and a few scratches? I think not. And what about Tomacco? That had animals actig like savages. My point is, The Simpsons hasn`t changed. The writing wasn`t as spot on as it it used to be, and in the 12-17th seasons they kind of had a drought, but lately it has greatly improved, and the movie is much proof of that. John Schwartzwalder is the king of Simpsons writing.

sorry but u just contradicted yourself. all shows change from what they were originally and simpsons is no exception. not just the animation, but also the writing as well. simpsons was good at one point but it has been inconsistent. they change writers too frequently to become stable and funny at the same time. altho I will agree with you that the movie was amazing. it really brought back memories of the show at its peak.

now I enjoy south park because it takes it to the extreme. and also, the writers haven't changed. matt stone and trey parker are owners, writers, and creators of the show since the beginning. what was great is that even tho the writing strike went on, they still came out with new episodes because the were the owners and writers of the show.

and family guy is pretty funny too, except that some of the simile jokes are starting not to be as funny or make any sense to me. not too big on AMERICAN DAD* watch it every now and then but nah

*just noticed i put family guy again right here instead of american dad. sorry if it confused anybody

family guy is ingenious but if it were a food, it'd be marmite in the sence u either like it or u dont.

south park is just shit funny :P

simpsons is also clever but is generally more childish that family guy.

american dad is meh ok

futurama is the lesser half of simpsons, still funny :)

Cartoon wars were classic episodes, almost as good as the imagination land 2 parter.
Iv seen every episode of south park, Family guy and american dad and south park wins by a mile. Not saying the other 2 arnt great but Cartoon wars really does point out a hell of alot of flaws in Family guy and American Dad is just Family guy with a patriot basically.

The movie just felt like an elongated episode to me. It was okay.

Tbh, the only show that made a movie to live up to the show is South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut

agreed! that is one funnyass movie and it was rated 7 out of 100 in a VH1 special on funniest movies ever. would definitely agree that it is also on the top of my list of funniest movies. I don't think that family guy should do a movie because even tho it's funny, it will definitely seem like an elongated episode
