is it posabile to change the bpm in a song, only for one thing...like if i had i lead, drums, and a bass, and i wanted to make the lead's bpm change in the song at parts. im useing fruity loops, i know you can change the whole songs bpm but i just want one part.... is that even possible?

if you were to reduce it to exactly half it shouldn't make it sound all ****ed up.
it's how you can put a florida breakbeat style breakdown in the middle of a hardcore song.

180 bpm kick drum pattern, 90 bpm breakbeat breakdown.
just make it half as fast. in fruity, don't reduce the tempo, just make the drum sequence longer with less stuff going on, that way you have a breakbeat that is half as fast as the regular tempo without degrading or confusing the track.
that's how you mix drum and bass with hip hop and dubstep. if the hip hop or dubstep is half as fast as the drum and bass, you can mix the breakbeat of the hip hop with the highs of the drum and bass.

You can automate the bpm in the same way you automate anything else. Just hit record and change it as it plays.

yeah you can automate it (in any sequencer AFAIK)
It doesn't even have to simply be half the BPM of the main part. That's probably good since it won't throw off DJs but I made a track that drops to 135BPM for the breakdown.
