Of course people will have said that before me and maybe it was true, but I can only speak from my own experiences.This site certainly isn't what it used to be to me when I firsty joined. I dunno, maybe it's just the biased sense of nostalgia making me remember things rather idyllically...

Nah, people come and go. You used to be more active on the site, so you got used to the new people before the old people left. The balance didnt shiver. Now that you havent been too much online, you see the old ones go, but dont get to know the new people before that happens.
Could be this time the new people arent all that great, but i doubt thats the case :)
