I know this probably isn't the best place to ask but I'm going to give it a shot anyway...

You hear those two samples that obviously aren't MIDI in that first track ("Here we go now" "You might be missing some of the benefits that stereo can provide")? Surely there is a way to extract them, as-is, out of the original .spc file?

do you have the game? the snes has composite tv cables so you could just plug the red & white cords into a recording device.

well if you own the real game in rl then just down a rom and an emulator then use a recording software to get the sounds you want

that seems like it would work

Not what I meant... I've already ripped the song... what I'm wanting to do is extract those two samples out of the song ("Here we go now" "You might be missing some of the benefits that stereo can provide").

What I was thinking was, with the way music works on the SNES and all, shouldn't there be a way to extract those two audio clips from the game?

i think i have the here we go now sample =P

that one should be easy to extract using something like sound forge as there is no other sounds going on during it.

Yeah but the music is going during the other sample. :(

Edit: There is some music going in the first one too. Unacceptable.

320 is more than good. The quality is great. Thanks.

Edit: Brian, think you could send me the "here we go now" sample?
