I should imagine it will be mainstreamish names which means there will be no Orbit1, no Shimamura or anyone like that.
I would have:
CD1: Dougal & Gammer
CD2: Sharkey & kev Energy
CD3: Darwin & CLSM
I think what is more likely is:
CD1: Hixxy or Gammer
CD2: Sharkey
CD3: Dougal or Sy or Seduction or maybe even Kutski as a wildcard

You know what I hope? I hope AATW do an AMAZING job with Bonkers 18! I hope they get the most random DJs and just blow everyone away. I hope Bonkers 18 will go down in history as one of the greatest hardcore albums ever. I hope that in 10 years time when people start posts about what the best bonkers is that everyone just says 18 18 18 without a doubt!!
A lot of people are very pessimistic about Bonkers 18 and to be fair they have good reason after CXH5 but I'm optimistic still. AATW are a huge label and we all know they are mostly interested in making money so I think they have two choices with this CD-
A: They could put Hixxy, Styles & Breeze on it and put the mot commercial housey hardcore they can find on it and get a whole load of 12 year olds into "hardcore". No offense to Styles, Breeze or Hixxy they're just the most commercial DJs I can think of
Or
B: They can put together an album that does the genre and the series justice. They will put lesser known DJs on it mixing lesser known tracks and help the genre grow and flourish like it deserves.
I believe (and hope) that AATW will go with option B. They must surely know the name they have to uphold by taking on the Bonkers series. They know that if they put out this album with commercial garbage that the hardcore fans, who kept the series going, will just reject it completely. Nobody would buy any further releases and thats definitely not what they want. It's the hardcore fans they have to impress with this album and they know that another CXH will not do. I think this is going to be a big moment in hardcore history and I am eagerly awaiting this release. Hopefully its gonna kick ass!
As for my line-up I don't care who does it. DJ Rankin could do it for all I care as long as its good Seriously though I wouldn't care if they put Styles, Hixxy and Breeze on it if they pick HARDCORE tracks for it. So fingers crossed...

How would giving the contract to lesser known dj's do any good to the series, or even to Hardcore? In the prime time of Bonkers, or at it's revival peak, were 'Lesser known dj's' what made Bonkers so popular? And isn't a track always lesser known when it just came out, on a new album?

we know for a fact that sharkey is on it, so that leaves 2 spaces for either darren styles, hixxy, breeze, re-con or squad-e
so im goin with Sharkey, Re-con & Squad-e (i'de bet money on that!!) mainly cus its based on common sense!
cus hixxy, styles & breeze have "permanent" homes on Clubland Hardcore..

I meant that it would be great if they got lesser known DJs who are just as talented as Hixxy or whoever and bring them to fame you know? Expanding the scene like. And about the tracks being new I meant as opposed to CXH5 with every second track being a remix of a popular dance track. I want fresh new original stuff not sugababes remixes you know what I mean? Like the remixes aren't bad but I think with Bonkers 18 they need something fresh and new. But thats just me theres probably loads of people that prefer remixes.
