...And with Andy's reply, the majority of posters in this forum will jump on the "we don't know yet, stop being stupid" bandwagon. A smaller amount of members will defend their stance, and this thread will diverge into yet another moaning/whining/bitching/flameware contest. Well, it's what's happened before.
Or hey, I could be pleasantly surprised and everyone shakes hands, agrees, and comes to a peaceful resolution!

Yeah guys, gotta wait til we see the tracklisting before criticism. Same goes for the cover artwork but can understand why some of you would want to do this petition. It probably will not count to anything but I guess it worth a try.
As for the cover artwork I really hope it does continue in a similar fashion to the older covers. Perhaps something along the lines of the newer style cartoon artwork like on the 12th or 17th albums but whether it does or not will have to wait for. I really hope it isn't like the Clubland Extreme Hardcore ones.
For the music I'm hoping for a normal Bonkers album with a good tracklisting. I just hope there's not many remixes of commercial dance/clubland tunes like there are on the CEH ones.

like i say, we are just expressing the fact we want it to be traditional, not new and clublandy...
No, that's not what you're "expressing" at all. This whole thread you've flat out been like "nah they've killed bonkers"
Mate, you don't know shit about the album yet. In fact, past experience would show that this album might actually BE good.
Hixxy's mixes on bonkers have been on the commercial side for a while - but there's usually something decent in there. Sharkey is... well... who the **** is going to be disappointed by sharkey's mix? You cant really tell with unknown coz sy& unknown release some SHIT tracks, and some good ones.
But you dont even know the tracklist yet, let alone have heard clips.
From this present point - AATW has NOT killed bonkers!!
Now can everyone PLEASE shut the **** up about it until we get a tracklist and/or clips? Jesus-****ing-christ you people complaining don't know ANYTHING yet. You're jumping to conclusions, assuming you know what's gonna happen. You don't. Stop pretending you do.
All this argument about them 'wanting to line their pockets' and 'being about the money' to me proves that they would keep to the original bonkers style. Everyone seems to forget that bonkers sold well - why fix what isnt broken? A business knows that.
/end rant
I'll give a proper reply, when you learn to give a proper statement.
stop swearing.. your not 14..
edit: also, top artists and dj's do browse this forum. i know that for a fact. now, who's to say they'll ignore us? know onw knows that for a fact. i think here, and USH have given enough to prove that we want tradition bonkers 18 and not clubland bonkers 1

Why would AATW get a brand and then change it to something else? They could have done that without getting the rights for the Bonkers serie.

You're joking arent you?
okay, for the learning impaired, i'll sum up what i said
1) You don't know shit about the album's content.
2) Past experience would show that this album could actually be pretty good because:
2-a) Hixxy has been commercial for a while but on bonkers theres usually something good
2-b) Sharkey has always been good no matter where his mixes are
3) You don't know a tracklist, nor have you heard clips - but you're complaining already
4) If you haven't heard any content - how can you make the statement that AATW have killed bonkers?
5) AATW (Because i'ts an efficient business) would know that there is no point taking bonkers and turning it into clubland. Bonkers already sold well - why would they change a model that's successful already?
I'd LOVE you to prove to me how that wasn't a "proper" reply.

The only reason I can see Hixxy doing a 2000+ mix is to introduce AATW customers to non clubland x-treme hardcore or at least give them a quick history lesson on what they didn't hear. The cover will have no cartoon and no theme, or the clubland as the theme if that is a theme.
There will be AATW artist hardcore remixes on it as well, even on sharkey's disc....
AATW's hardcore release formula is:
May: Bonkers
Aug: HTID
Dec Clubland X-treme hardcore

I'm getting pretty excited. There were some good tracks that came out in the 2000, 2001 era, as heard on Happy2bHardcore Chapters 5 & 6, and if Hixxy actually picks some more of the not-so-much-played tracks, I can see the album being pretty decent.
