Every CD is slightly different on its molecular level. I wanted the fullest possible experience.

Question....

Cd 3, Track 1: "Last Forever". It says vocals by Ant Johnson, but the vocals are female. I thought Ant Johnson was male?

I've only listened to the first 2 CDs so far, what can I say other than it's a ****ing awesome album so far. I paid £8.95 for the album from play.com and it is the second best album I've ever bought and at that price it's just amazing. The only better one for me was Bonkers 13 which I got for £3.99!

Darwin - Connected was possibly the best choice for the intro track, loving that tune. Maybe someone here can help me and a friend with something, the tune in Moscow Mule (CD1, T12) - what TV program was it a theme for or where has it been heard often before?

I hope to see more future releases of Hardcore Underground, if AATW destroy the Bonkers series as I suspect they will, then I'll need a new series to replace it. If Bonkers goes commercial I will cry until my tears run dry and boycott all AATW releases forever!

Finally got round to listening to all of it. Cant decide which is my favourite, im stuck between CD3 and 4. Theyre both great, as is CD1. CD2 isnt really as strong as the others but still a decent enough CD.

Good move putting some D&B on there aswell, think thats the only time ill ever like Jump Up/ Was really refreshing to hear some different styles on a hardcore compilation and this has plenty. Good work everyone involved and i cant wait for the next installment....... out this year i believe? *drools*

The vocals are male and sung by Ant Johnson. They have been processed to sound the way they do.

Yeah the drink is nice, made with Vodka, lime juice and ginger beer. Maybe it is that advert I have heard it from, probably why I recognized it but couldn't put my finger on it, since I pay little attention visually to adverts but hear them in the background.

Thanks.

I posted almost the same thing on Ush, you're not the only one who thinks he sounds really female in that track. :) He naturally has an androgenic, or feminine, voice though. I love this vocal works, so don't think this is an attack! :P

After listening to all 4 cds fully, I have to say my order would be 1, 4, 2, & 3. I honestly thought a cd mixed by Al Storm would have some more vocals, but the heavy Euro melodies throughout the tracks made up for it. Cube::Hard's "In The Moment" is a tune and a half! Love the pianos.
