That was a serious question, jokes aside. What does it really mean?
For example, Splash Vs Vibes - Techno Wonderland 2007

it's always a serious question he asks, but it just sometimes sounds ridiculous you just have to laugh
he's trying to get you to compare DJs and record labels. i'm not sure whether he wants us to answer which of the comparisons he gave is better so who really knows

it just means that they made a track together like producers do normally, but sometimes they use the vs instead of e.g brisk and ham, brisk vs ham
well thats what i think, someone correct me if i,m wrong

"dear god, what happened to this post? it's like a disaster area" rofl ------- Nope it means that 2 tunes have been mixed together to create a song. For example Techno Wonderland - Splash vs. S3RL are two tracks ( don't know whhich ones exactly ) which have been mixed together to, as I said before, create a single track. The one is from S3RL, the other one from the Trance DJ & producer DJ Splash. Anohter good example : Listen to your voodoo people - No Left Turn & Cracker Jack vs. Reese That's two tracks : Listen Up - No Left Turn & Cracker Jack Voodoo People - Reese But it's a single track. And that's why "Brisk & Ham" wouldn't mean the same as "Brisk vs. Ham". When talking about mixing, "vs." ( versus actually ) means back 2 back mix ( battle mix ).

Actually, when referring to a track, it usually means it's been bootlegged from the original artist, and they made their own version. When referring to a DJ set, it usually means they switch off every track or two in one set. Otherwise its a back 2 back.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to say. It's liked remixed, that's true.

Yea same here. I also heard that Darwin, Fracus & Sharkey do teaching lessons. Are there any DJs that do that in the states?
