theres a Dance remix...
they are/were caining it on radio one for the longest time, not the biggest fan of country music myself but i dont mind it - my fiancée loves it, it gets played alot at home
you shouldnt be too ashamed to admit it..you could like the dixie chicks like atomsk does , then you could truely be ashamed... ;)

The dance remixes ive heard are aload of shite, they couldnt transfer even a quarter of the feeling to the tune. That video "isnt available in your country (read: the uploader should be banned from the internet)", and i cant be bothered to start searching UK proxies. Same goes to that rock version which is shite too. Ive tryed to listen Dixie Chicks tunes in the past actually, didnt mind the style, but the tunes just werent doing it for me.
*sings along*

that's a pretty gayass song, but i can see why you like it. it has a sort of indie sound to it, and it sounds like she put some real thought into the lyrics unlike the empty crapass artists that normally come out of pop music.

Never heard of him, heh. What i'm talking about is like that BiG-EL feat Annie "Alone" tune, ive always loved the original, and IMO BiG-EL managed to capture that same feeling to the remix.

I read somewhere that when she started out she was offered a record deal, she declined it because she wouldnt have been allowed to write her own songs :)

Why ashamed ? It's a nice song. There's also different styles of music in the world than UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ all the time.
And it's not country, it's more like rock I would say.

Its pop-country, its more clear from her other tunes, but in this tune the instruments make the diffrence IMO. Listen the crappy rock version and you'll see it.
...and i'm not ashamed to what i listen, but i dont go shouting my love for 80's girl rock bands either ;)

When this song first came out I was like why the fudge is this crap at number one in the charts but having a 12 year old sister means I've heard it ALOT of times and I must say it has grown on me. But shhh
