Samsung are going to soon be releasing an E-Book Reader, with touchscreen support and a Diary Function.

This is hopefully going to pave the way to Abolishing paper, and paper diarys alltogether.
I hope so Anyway. E-paper is, in case you don't know, different from LCD, in that it only needs to use power when its changing what is on the screen.

E-paper is also extremly thin, much slimmer than LCD, and possibly AMOLED.
I guess they have to exhaust the Book market before they can market E-paper for its other endless uses.

I hate buying paper diarys, when i think of all the trees that have to be cut down to make them, but I also think PDA's are still rediculously bulky for what they are.
My Flipping Ipod NANO 1st Generation is 5mm thick!!
Why do PDA'S have to be so Thick.

^^Cant some Einstein think to them selves, "SHIT!!, we could make PDA's as Thin as NANOs" and make Big $/£

If this Samsung Papyrus E-book, doesn't use any of this charactor recognition crap, and can store text in its memory banks in my handwriting, then i'm definately buying one to replace all future diarys i have.
If it does store ASCI text, instead of Bitmap text, and does use charactor recognition, then i might have to think about it a bit longer.

You young whipper-snappers and your technology. Whats wrong with pens and paper?

Don't worry. For every tree cut down, two-three are planted (atleast here in Finland).

Well, some people don't reach that "Peak", in there lives, when Technology has improved there standard of living until there mid 30's early forties.

I prety much take for granted EVERYTHING that was invented in the 80's, or before, because i am 25, and as you are 19 so do you especially.

This includes post-286 computer architeture, microwave-ovens, internet, mobile-phones, video playback and recordability, Television, Cars (I Cant afford one right now), Electronic Calculators.

Some modern tech-styles look absurd, like "In the Ear-canal" headphones just look wrong.
Unless they are Noise-reduction, or the "Ear-Plug" kind, then they serve a purpose, instead of the stupid push-in rubber kind.
I had a pair of "Race Quiet" Foam Earplug Phones, until the Connection claped out, and i didn't have a soldiering iron to fix them.

I like my standard of living/life improved by technology, more than Irelevant things like Aesthetics, all the while making sure i don't support the Capitalistic Planned Obscolecence, which some argue fuels innovation.

Hence why i don't own an Ipod Nano Generation 4.....

Seriously How many generations of Ipod Flipping Nano do we NEED!!!!

True, but the Original IPOD is a Style ICON, just like the Sony WM-10 Walkman of the 80's.

So i'm proud to have the First Gen Nano, with Ipods Proud Ancestry.

I suppose I Like timeless aesthetics, that have withstood the test of time, more than aesthetics that will be old in 1 month.
But i suppose, Paradoxicaly "Stood the test of time Aesthetics" have to already be old anyway.

You can't deny the Original, 2001, gen1, before they started calling it "The Classic", Ipod, Looks S-E-X-Y.
I mean, Just, Look at it.

Back then they used a Mechanical Click wheel, i wish i had bought one when they were a new thing, but i didn't have the money when i was 17.
They didn't use the Stupid touch-sensitive, Synthesized Click sound, The Mechanical Click wheel was Ipods Trademark.

Back in 2004 i saw someone at college with the Ipod Above and felt really Jellous, The 2001 Ipod Made me JELOUS of ANYONE who had an IPOD.

Nowadays i look at Any ipod, and it doesn't matter what price tag has been assigned to it, the simple fact is the Aesthetics just don't do it for me anymore, in Quite the Same way.
