well they dont sell just goth stuff in hot topic
last time i was in there you could pic up invader zim, happy tree friends stuff and other things they deamed "quirky" super mario t-shirts..etc etc

hot topic has definitely changed their style in clothing. it used to be that it really was all goth when i 1st heard about it (10 years ago, maybe more). it was all black stuff, spike collars and just super depressing crap. funny tho, they did have happy hardcore in there.
but because of the emo look, all the clothes has gotten a gay twist to it.
but yea you're better off buying most of the stuff somewhere else. and go online and you might find some1 selling their used pair.
so what if they're used. you are only going to be wearing them a few times after all
