well depending on what you mean by "caught on." it had its popularity here, but obviously it has diminished.
allmenarepirates i suggest u move to the west coast. seems like there are a lot of raves with uk/happy hardcore djs mixing there.

i have responsibilities here. i was out in l.a. couldn't afford it. just wanna put my family back together. i'm willing to help do it right here. ny is looking for the easy way out so they're not doing what they should. in l.a. i think most of the underground is pirate ya know check points, and phone numbers.
ny needs to do the same. i realy feel that the problem is the djs being seperated from the kids like they're better, or something. no one's gonna show up , and they won't get any happy hardcore with an attitude like that. i didn't know that untill i went to l.a. i don't see the homies that i see in l.a. at n.y. parties. friggen frankie bones moved to l.a. what's that say? matter of fact i never even met frankie bones till i was in l.a. and i'm a ny raver.
i know... blah blah blah... in america everything starts on the west coast first... it'll be here when all the right people are being treated right.
PLURR,
hip-e

On the west coast you'll find raves with DJ's such as No Left Turn, Cracker Jack, Reese, S3RL, etc

i've grown accustomed to at least my choice of three or four parties every week that have happy hardcore from being in l.a., i worked for crews like neosapiens, and scc.
i'm a homey. i don't realy know if people outside of cali know what that means, but i'm sure some people do wherever i go...and hey... don't crack. lmao
still have the i'm better than everybody else cause i'm a dj syndrome in ny. they don't even do a friggen walk thru in nyc. wtf!
i know you know what that is right?

p.s. if there's none in your area promote some parties yourself especialy if you spin.

ya, waiting for some more homies to show up. i have to stay on the east coast, and the people here keep acting like they're part of something that i'd be honored to be included in, and ummm....i'm like dude your scene sucks. why are you so ****ing proud of it. you should all get together do yourselves in with spiked kool aid. everyone in l.a. acts like it's no big thing. maybe that's why everyone wants to go to parties out there... cause the guys throwing them aren't dicks. lmao. anyone who wants to put a crew together, i'm down. i know most of the people in the l.a. underground. some of them come out here sometimes even. it's so new school that ny says it's old school.
lmfao!

So if you have friends start your own parties at your house or garage or something, rent a small venue like a scout hall or something, throw small raves for your friends... people talk and more people will come every time.
When I was in Australia there was this crew that started parties because they used to drive their cars to a park with their friends and turn up the stereos, after a few weekends bigger cars with big stereo's turned up and it turned into a party, then then started to rent equipment and put on regular parties.

sounds a bit like your acting like you know better then they do, and they should be running their scene like the one in l.a. ... its not l.a. though ...maaaaybe they know what they're talking about and im sure they are proud of they're scene...i would be..do you expect them to say..well ya our scene is good, but its no l.a. man your so awsome cuz you know what its like out there. tell us how to be like l.a. please!
ny's scene appears to be a lot better than most, and they can run it their way...if you think you can do better good luck. that would be sick...but your acting just as high and mighty as your complaining the people in ny are acting...get over your self and realize that your not in l.a. any more..im sure you can contribute to ny's scene but it will never be l.a.
maybe a few more posative vibes on your part would go a long way, try helping people instead of throwin them under the bus.

and dont you read flyers...im PREATTY sure you can find out EXACTLY whats playing at any event on this planet before going.
im sure you have great ideas and would be an asset to ny's scene...but maybe you should get of youir own pedistle and try and see things from another point of view
....i dont even live in NY lol
