well i've wanted to start this topic for all of us who get drunk and just are in the mood to chat away online to something! lol
i'm actually slightly sobering up, but i had rum & cokes all night and beer at a house party. it was quarter nights at one of our local clubs, and for those of you who don't know, quarter nights is 25 cents, that's 0.25 USD per drink. it was cheap rum, but i didn't care
i got drunk! lol

Wow! that would be like 17p per drink!

well it's all about location. the school that i go to isn't that huge (bout 16,000 student body) and what they are best known for is criminal justice (3rd in the US) and education. and many of the students tend to go out of town for the weekend.
so having a 25 cent drink night is the only way to really keep this place alive. and it's only done on tuesdays, sometimes thursdays
but also all the liquor is the cheapest u can find. no premium liquor, but i don't care. getting hammered for less than $10 is great!
o and also we have a movie theater that is $3 matinee (that's before 6pm, 1800hrs) and $5 after 6pm (1800hrs)

the entire school i went to had 127 pupils. and thats 24 per class/year/form
i grew up with the same 24 students from starting from pre-school, right through to leaving high school/secondary school at 16.
'course thats nothing compared to the other islands, where st agnus had about 8 or 9 pupils, tresco has about 30 or 40, st martins about 15..and bryher has about 4 at its lowest point...

lol well for a college it is rather small, especially to me since i lived in houston all my life. and also compared to the majority of schools in the state of Texas.
we have University of Texas (austin), Texas Tech (lubbock), Texas A&M (college station) and University of Houston they all have a student body of 50,000 if not over. plus there are other schools that have a student body twice as ours. so yes compared to most colleges and universities in Texas, we are pretty small

so.. I'm druink.. here goes. ignore the unstoppable spelling tyo's.. thats part of this speech of unter comedy.
i went to the pub with people i didnt think were my friends, and it was fun, but there are still aspects of my lufe i feel are kinda incomplete...
education wise, im kinda smart, and can achieve good grades with effort, but im stuck in where to go from finishing my two AS years at college. tomorrow/today i have an interviwe with an institute, with the head of a course i intend to do as a backup if my grades from college aree shit.
Plan A is to go to University... but i dont think i'll get into any uni.. over the past two years, i havent done too well at colege.. the efforts not been there.. ive spent too much time making shit songs rather than woring on building my future..
As far as I'm concerned, I'm doomed to a system or waking up, eating, working, eating, sleeping, 9 til 5 7 days a week... its my biggest feAR// being a part of an endless system. generation after generation live life in a meaningless system that we all live.. 0 to 5 jobs are my worst case scenario. it leave no point to life and no ambition.. Dreams are obviously going to remain dreams for me.. and tbh i find that a shame..
such thoughts also lead to love.. what is love? ive constanly asked myself what love is, and whether i'm in love with people, or in love with love itself. i'd like to think i know what love is. being in love with one person turned my life upside down, and now love with another is growing. But i can't be bothered to go into that. I'll explain that another time maybe..
i dont know what i just said... but thats the magic in this thread.. g'night...
