Can you use it for mixing at all?
The short answer is no you can't mix them. Unmixed versions you need to buy the singles (if they are released), check http://shop.happyhardcore.com - these are vinyl records.

Ah, i never said it wasnt possible. Its been done A LOT but it would and does sound sound shit. The people doin this have to either mix in and out later and earlier than usual to avoid the original mix from the cd or do as they normally would which would mean the transitions between the tracks ripped from the cd would be playing out aswell as the new tune the DJ would be bringing in - two intros playing then. So either way it will sound shit. Please dont do it, or if you do put up a warning with the mix so i know not to download it.

I think that that the Hixxy mixes on Xtreme Hardcore 1 & 2 are unmixed. I'm sure 1 is, can't recall if number 2 is or not.

Werent they edits? Although mixable do a degree still not full mixes so it would be a challenge.

X-Treme 1 was 'mixed' as in it was a flowing, fluid mix, but the tracks definitely are a bit disconnected in that the mixes are a lot of cuts... a couple just fade out and let the other one start, like between Tantric and End of Time. Still not worth mixing as they have no intros or outros, and mixing in the intros and outros is one of the most fun parts as you can do loads of tricks.
If you're looking for unmixed stuff from Clubland check out the Twista and Future World labels.

There is a difference between unmixed and DJ mixable (ie radio edits)... technically anything is mixable but you're gonna find it hard to mix a radio edit without a DJ intro and outro...
