you can get yourselves very shiney medals buy buying a subscription to happyhardcore.com
just $5 a month...after exchange rate thats only a couple of quid!....

Me, especially if we do another set of awards lol because it will just end up dead like this one. I know its no biggy for most people but saying you won best Mc on the "most popular happy hardcore site" for an up and comer is a MAJOR plus point to get gigs or get yourself listened to. P.S. By the way im not saying i need that "title" to get Mcing work live because if they just heard me they wouldnt i just mean someone is more likely to listen to it.
Just wanted to nip that in the bud before people start saying "If you need the title get work then you must not be a good mc"

I think they are a good idea, brings the forum together a bit, cause you get loads of people all posting on one topic and even the lurkers post.
Plus I should imagine for a person winning best producer or best DJ or MC etc, its just a nice confidence booster for them that they are doing things right and that they are getting recognition for all the free mixes etc that they give away

I agree with this.
This forum especially doesn't have particularly any elitists, so the awards really can't be taken badly. Unless someone goes on a posting rampage because their crappy mix didn't win.
