What if it wasnt? youd be screaming for your government to help you. The needed mechanism was there, they couldnt even stop the virus, even with constant warnings from every single news agency. Just imagine what could have happened if it was another spanish flu.

IT ISN'T.
Sure, if it did turn out bad, the "overhype" would of been good. IF it did. But, it didn't turn out as bad they spewed out.

Isnt that just stating the obvious? its good to stand on that high horse NOW that we know it wasnt deadly. But people, you know those that study these things for a living, didnt know that a while ago.

Ok i'm a bit lost here. If there was a legitimate cause, you cant call it media hype or "overrated". The news sources i read, are not using hype to fear the general public, now that we know its not that dangerous. If people call yellow media as news these days, then i suppose thats where i got lost.
