Why do so many people decide to talk in third-person on facebook, it looks so weird and egotistical.
I did a net Search to try and find answers to this phenomena, i didn't really find anything to explain.
People argue, that it doesn't make Grammatical sense to use there name in front of what they say, but it makes perfect grammatical sense.
For example, some people think that this:
Some Random guy thinks the weather in Volgograd is good this time of year, so he's been told.
makes more sense than:
Some random guy I think the weather in Volgograd is good this time of year so I've been told.
But it doesn't....
Because its blue.....and FUC|<!N9 bolded!!
In HTML its called "Weighted Text"
The fact that the "Formatting" is different implies in Cyber terms, that your name is a different entity.
People just don't understand Formating.
Half this people who make this stupid-mistake, prob only got broadband a year ago, and aren't veterens like me, are prob between 12-19 or if there older trying to be what they think is cool.
These are the same cringe-inducing people who barely remember the 90's
I remember 56k and the Screech-Whooshing sound it would make, something the average 18 yr old wouldn't.

since when did it become incorrect to speak in third person when writing somthing?
it is there to write in the third person for when another person reads it
else it would say
"I am"
and not
"Rowan Smith"
secondly the only reason it is bolded is because its a hyperlink and because of the way facebook has its CSS set up for it to be a link to that persons profile and the size of the font they want to use it pretty much has to be bolded
so next time you look at it - see a hyperlink, and not bold (then you wont see them as two separate entitys and rather see it as one sentance with a hyperlink in it..
do you get fustrated everytime you see hyperlinks on the net?... you must have very high blood pressure

Very mature guys, this was just the kind of response i expected from you really.
All i can say is, you guys would be the FIRST too complain if someone started having a conversation with you, and refering to the things he/she said in the thirdperson, in a bar or down the pub.

And i know what CSS is, i did a part-time course in Dreameaver MX. It was weird because i was using Dreamweaver CS at the time, so the layout was a bit different.
Facebook needs a huge overhaul to prevent this Bu11Sh!t from happening, and to prevent people justyfying themselves, when they type like this.
All they would need to do is put the text input BELLOW OR ABOVE, the person's name.
CSS.....hmmm
That's a thought.
Thats actually good idea.
That dreameaver course is paying off heaps.
If they changed the paramaters in the .CSS files stored in the facebook Servers wouldn't that automatically change the layout of some 1million+ HTML pages, all in one go??
Or does CSS have Limits??
