Very mature guys, this was just the kind of response i expected from you really.
All i can say is, you guys would be the FIRST too complain if someone started having a conversation with you, and refering to the things he/she said in the thirdperson, in a bar or down the pub.
Believe you me.
The FIRST to complain.
IF not then....I....Just...Despair.
BTW, I KNOW its a hyperlink!!

And i know what CSS is, i did a part-time course in Dreameaver MX. It was weird because i was using Dreamweaver CS at the time, so the layout was a bit different.
Facebook needs a huge overhaul to prevent this Bu11Sh!t from happening, and to prevent people justyfying themselves, when they type like this.
All they would need to do is put the text input BELLOW OR ABOVE, the person's name.
CSS.....hmmm
That's a thought.
Thats actually good idea.
That dreameaver course is paying off heaps.
If they changed the paramaters in the .CSS files stored in the facebook Servers wouldn't that automatically change the layout of some 1million+ HTML pages, all in one go??
Or does CSS have Limits??
A prevent this thirdperson-Bu11Sh!t.
get a grip mate. If this sort of thing really bothers you, i wonder how you cope with day to day life...

It's not like people are conversing in 3rd person so i don't really see the problem, it's an announcment, completely different thing. When you look at your facebook page you see a list of people having done whatever actions; it's not going to make much sense of you just read 'I' for every person (like Silver said) is it?

Underloop doesn't often talk in the third person, but if he did it would probably be the best 3rd person monologue in the world

hahahahaha
I love it when people speak about themselves in the third person when you are talking to them in person, it like makes me cringe and think they are a loser but i find it so funny.
Redwingz thinks that people who refer to themselves in the third person are sad losers, although he would never group himself with those idiots.

**Sigh**
I don't know.
When i see people type about themselves on facebook, in the thirdperson, it seriously worries me. Because some people, esp young children are easily influenced.
I don't know how i would cope, if some 7 year old kid today practialy learn't to speak on FB, and then 18 years later, i find myself working with him and he can only have conversations in the thirdperson.
There was this conversation, I was talking to one of my colleague's last year, and she said one of her friends just spoke the word "Lolz" out loud in response to a joke she had made to her in a previous conversation.
She just Spoke....the word "Lolz".
This is Cyber speak.
And by that historical trend, how can we safely assume some a$$Hats don't start speaking "FB speak" in real life.
What reinforces my wories is the Film "Demolition man" where Sandra Bullock starts talking in that really really weird way to Sylvestor Stallone.
And because Slyvestor Stallone is from the 90's, and because people spoke Normal English in 1993, not this 00's 10's Twenty First Century Bastardization, Techno-Buggary of the english Language, it was understandable that he was a bit creeped out.
Although she isn't talking strictly in "Thirdperson" it's close enough by my book.
I am not sure when Demoliton man is set in the future maybe some time in the 2040's maybe I'm not quite sure.
"Demoliton man" has already predicted that arnold schwarzenegger would get political Acclaim.
So it's not a fair logical strech that it will get other predictions right as well, i just hope the the Talking in thirdperson crap doesn't become prophecy.

I am absolutely certain that no one is going to start speaking in 3rd person just because of Facebook, and even if they did, it wouldn't bother me as only idiots would do it anyway.
