err wtf.. is it somehow wrong that i hate toolbars? small or big doesnt matter.. i just dun like em.. silver asked for "Comments, thoughts, bugs or suggestions " my comment is that i hate toolbars.. no need to get all bitchy about it.. and i did suggestion to make it optional

Loving the toolbar! Yay new stuff 
But noticed a little bug a minute ago. The toolbar goes under You Tube embedded videos if you know what I mean? Here's a page for an example and hopefully then you'll know what I mean.

the locked topic will probably give you my opinion.
+ eleventy billion. cant stand it. if there were some way to minimise it altogether that would be good. theres a search button already up the top, dont see whats so hard about using that.

its not like it installed anything on your computer though...
i mean personally i hate toolbars also - but only when they are installed on a computer and slowing my browser down..but this ones just a java toolbar thats not installed and is only on this site...and doesnt seemt to be effecting speed or anything

I shouldn't have called it a toolbar... it's not installed or anything, it's pure javascript from our website, we are not starting anything on your PC, no java, no flash, nothing and it is not slowing it down. Pure css and javascript.
You can minimize the toolbar, it emulates a "blocked popup" in chrome if you really wanted to know.

Theres always been 2 toolbars at the top of this site :P
If you use Opera, right-click the site, choose "site preferences" from the "Scripts" tab uncheck javascript. You could do a script that only blocks the toolbar, but i dont know how to do those things.
Ive used such a feature on FB where it blocks all app's from the news feed :P

is it really necessary though? as whispering said, there are two already at the top of the page. could the links be built in to them?
If not could we at least have a way of getting it off the screen?

click the two arrows on the far right, it minimizes it and keeps it minimized for the duration of the time you're on the site...

the ones at top? which ones O.o? i dont mind build in adds or menu bars (menu's gotta be there ofc) but this tool/navi bar or whatever its gotta be called is not really something i'd like to have.. dissabling java script on firefox (which im using) is also dissabling a lot of other things done by java and not only for this site so thats not really an option..
my suggestion is make it (as i said before) optional in profile settings or something.

ive had this problem over the past few days...
the toolbar is basically blank apart from the search on the left hand side.....
im at work at the moment, but im pretty sure it does this at home too (also there is an onload error as you can see in the same place when clicked and "show more info" it says

see the "connect" and RSS feed and other stuff that was on the toolbar is no longer there..
