No, you're right, it wont, but it annoys me to see people diss fileshareing because they know they'll get chirped if they agree with it, and then turn around and do it. Hypocrisy pisses me off.

What a stupid display of attitudes. You complain about filesharing then act like you don't care and try to even complain about him bringing it up as if you never cared to begin with.

a) be consistent in their views

b) not rag on fileshareing because it's the cool thing to do, or because it'll help you be accepted here, do it because you feel you should. wilky's a very clear example of b going terribly wrong

No, I bought the albums first sir. HU3 I bought then downloaded. Relapse I pre-ordered then downloaded. Sorry, but that's ALOT different than going to a forum, and downloading everything RaverBaby's put out without buying a single vinyl. Like I said, I'll admit I USED to fileshare, years ago sir, but that Wilky topic is from today...
@ tru bass - The fact that nobody even cares, let alone wants to do anything (and will somebody please show me where I said people should do something about the wilky situation), shows that alot of the people that say they hate fileshareers probably don't, and just say they do because they don't wanna be in bad graces with the high-end producers that visit this forum. God forbid you disagree with someone whose music you like.

The only reason why most of those releases are shared as such is because vinyl is an investment and many people are unwilling to buy vinyl without knowing what the tracks sound like in their entirety. Vinyl costs a lot of money, and if you're unsure of what you're going to get, then you're not going to want to pay for it.
Digital releases, on the other hand, don't have this argument as strongly.
I can say that if I were to buy a vinyl release (assuming it could actually be shipped to me), I would want to hear the entire track first, rather than a mixed/different version.
