"WATERBURY, Vt. - Mooove over, Holsteins. PETA wants world-famous Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream to tap nursing moms, rather than cows, for the milk used in its ice cream.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is asking the ice cream maker to begin using breast milk in its products instead of cow's milk, saying it would reduce the suffering of cows and calves and give ice cream lovers a healthier product.
The idea got a cool reception Thursday from Ben & Jerry's officials, the company's customers and even La Leche League International, the world's oldest breast-feeding support organization, which promotes the practice — for babies, anyway."

peta are a complete bunch of idiots, and this is coming from someone who doesnt eat meat.
they are just trying to "shock" people/to make people think - but at the end of the day thats a retarded suggestion, anyone who has a wife who has breastfed etc etc knows that humans dont produce even the slightest amount of milk that would be needed to feed the millions of billions of people who eat ice cream.
on top of that, breast milk tastes completly different to normal milk and probably wouldnt work well in ice cream anyway

haha, nah i heard this in a podcast, that's why the story's a little old. then i went looking for the article online. if i was looking for tits and ended up with this i'd have to be a bit of a spaz, how hard is it to find tits on the internet? lol
not only is the whole human breast milk thing pretty absurd but i don't see how this would make the cows quality of life any better. all the cows being farmed for milk would just end up dead and a whole lot of people in developing countries for whom cows milk is their livelihood wouldn't be able to sell their milk to us any more and would end up in the shit as well.

pfft. since when did animals have rights.
so they propose a method that apparently stops cows from suffering. because milking cows causes them suffering. instead we should use the same process on humans, because cows are more important than humans, and it's just fine if humans suffer.
honestly, they should form a reclusive cult and choke on their own shit by themselves. Then they can give their own babies breast milk icecream without bothering the rest of us.

If you think about it though, it makes sense.
Baby cows are supposed to drink cow milk.
Baby Pigs drink pig milk.
Puppies drink dog milk.
Etc. etc. etc.
Humans should drink human milk.
*I'll stick with my cow milk soft serve any day though

dogs dont ride unicycles
pigs dont come up with theorys of relativity
birds dont write novels
squirrels dont tell jokes
but the one thing that many many animals share
is that they eat each other.

my cat likes cows milk, i also have a puppy that likes cows milk. i'm sure allot of animals would drink it if they were able to.
