Average Joe buys CXH5, thinks it's okay... about 10 months later he gets htid 2, listens to disk 3 and wonders wtf tracks he as on a previous album on there. average people wont want longer tracks.. that's because not everyone's a Dj..

its like you listen to a track on youtube, and you think its OKAY... then you see a link to the extended video (a longer version)... would u click on it (if you weren't a dj?)

Dude, what are you ranting about!

This album is the best of both worlds! You get two cds mixed full of upfront goodness, and your average Joe is happy. Then, even djs get the best bang for their bucks with a 3rd cd full of extended versions of upfront tracks!

The price of the album, including shipping to Canada, is actually cheaper than the sole cost of buying 13 tracks out of any mp3 store. This is dirt cheap, where exactly do you see a scam? why are you so scandalized?

Stop trying to find problems where there really isnt any! You don't like Hixxy, fair enough. You don't like HTID, fair enough. Make some sense though!

hahaha, what do you find so hard to understand when someone's being annoyed at the same tracks on multiple albums?!

The fact that the tracks mentionned are in extended version and not in mixed format. There is a world of difference that you seem not to want to understand, seemingly by disdain of anything Hixxy related. Ridiculous!

Most mp3's sold on online stores have been featured on albums already. Do you bitch about that as well?

but i dont care if it has a longer intro or outro... its the same track... i want to hear new stuff, rather than paying for tracks i have.

and dont go back into that "cheaper than" bullcrap.. at the end of the day I'm buying an album with tracks on there that I have already paid for...

I don't dislike Hixxy or HTID... I may dislike some of the music he or his aatw comrades are producing. I may also dislike the AATW way of running things... but thats not to say i dislike all things hixxy or htid. i have a great respect for hixxy and enjoy much of his older (and some) current stuff..

Think about the all dj's and ravers out there as well, not only your own sorry self!

Including the extended versions on an album is a great way to have these tunes played and heard at events everywhere, and especially outside of England!

You clearly evaded my other question: Most mp3's sold on online stores have been featured on albums already. Do you bitch about that as well?

Then why do you bitch about the extended unmixed versions on the 3rd cd? Do you not see that it's the same thing? You don't make sense here! :p

omg! Im not bitching about the tracks being extended, im annoyed at the songs being on htid, as well as clubland!

The fact they are DJ friendly, to me, is irrelevant! wtf does that have to do with mp3s sold online, anyway :S:S

To be fair I don't see why this gets on your nerves so much. Back in the day loads of albums had tracks on that where on other albums. It wasn't a problem then so why should it be now?

well if that fact is irrelevant to you, my friend, you fail to understand the context in which Hardcore is marketed. We are talking here about Rave music, promoted by the creators to the general public and to the DJs who are going to promote it to the general public as well themselves!

because in those days i wasnt as big-a hardcore freak as i am now.. i didnt get the music, i just enjoyed what i could from youtube/bebo and whatever else..

Also, back in the 'old' days, were two albums with the same tunes released by the same label?

Matricks, unmixed tracks on a commercial album isn't exactly common, so how is it the context of how hardcore is marketed? i thought it was normally to the general public, and then the dj's bought the EP's..
