Don't know about area wise but over all I'd say the best known would be Styles & Hixxy.

dance wise? i would hands down say Tiesto

followed by perhaps Above and Beyond and maybe Dead Mouse, they seem to have shot to worldwide fame really ****ing quickly lol

but yeah, tiesto, pretty much the reason he keeps winning the number 1 DJ spot is just because he is so well known

that said, i really really really like his new track - though i dont like the RnB/Hip Hop style vocal hook "Uh Uh Uh UHHhoooo" too much like cascada shit, the rest of the vocal is spot on.
i think theres a remix of it that i prefer..

.Wolfgang Gartner Remix! there is!!
and whats better is that even though its that style of trance - no freeking sidechaining to **** with my ears!!!! wooyay!!

take that back theres a little useage of it in there..but not enough to make it sound as though someones playing with a volume fader!

but i would like to add, that when its made into hardcore (and it undoubtedly will be) the only person i think would could remix it and make it as good or better is Inverse, like he did with longest road...

no, perhaps not i think i would have to agree - but im refrencing the entire world, trance easily comes out on top, specially eastern europe (poland etc etc)

backtracking to teisto again, reason i said that was because when i stopped listening to trance cause it was getting shit he had won No1 DJ a ton a of times.

nice to Armin up top though, one of the first pieces of trance on vinyl i bought was "Communication"
