Loving some of the stuff!
Carbon Based and Alek Száhala are two that stand out for me.
Tunes like Carbon Based - Cyclone just get me enjoying the unique styles they come up with soo much. The creativity and Innovation in their tracks thrill me so much more than the mainstream stuff I so often hear that's produced in this country..

I truly hope Dubstep won't be invading Hardcore, I can't get a hang of liking any of it!
Not a true fan of Finnish freeform either, but I do like an odd track here and there! I'm listening to Cyclone right now, and it does sound very awesome. I don't see how it really breaks the mold though, it sounds like typical freeform to me. Nothing much better than Darwin - Peak 1.1m and I still groove way more to Porn Kings v DJ Supreme - Up To Da Wildstyle (Gammer & Andy Whitby Remix)

I whole heartedly agree with you, but for very different reasons. I'd hate to see Dubstep be turned into an overused gimmick in Hardcore like Electro was. But i do thing it works quite well in that track, each to their own, you scully on back to your Clubland tripe :p ;)

...or bonkers 2, or HU3, or Hardcore Addiction! Unlike some, my mind remains open and I'm lucky enough to enjoy a wide spectrum of Hardcore styles, not just the Clubland cheesiness I do love ;)
Main difference with Electro vs Hardcore for me is that I do enjoy Electro in a different context, so when it's mixed to Hardcore it makes me smile. Dubstep just makes me frown!

Hmm, i see potential for a wobbly remix :p
Just incase that was directed at me, i'm lucky enough to enjoy quite a wide range of music full stop. The only genre i find my tastes limited is Hardcore and even then i still enjoy the odd bit of cheese. But overall there's just not enough variety in Hardcore - Dubstep however....

Agree 100%!!!
Dubstep makes my brain wanna explode.
I'm not a big fan of most finnish stuff unless it's very emotional (like alanamra). I don't think most finnish freeform breaks the mold. I think it tries to sound as crazy as possible and sacrificies emotional chord progressions for annoyance.
The acid in "up to da wildstyle" is SO good.

some great stuff ur suggesting, guys! Thanks :)
to be honest, I think songs like Alanarma and Cyclone try something a bit different to what we get here in the UK... Its much more trance based and has a bit more feeling behind it. I find with Cyclone it just bypasses the conventional hardcore structure and does something no other track ive heard does, and thats why I love it :)

i have cyclone on vinyl....and i have to say its a great track, but its not so far fetched as you seem to make it out...
..i mean Product Of Society (Sharkeys Hardcore Society Mix) has just as much "difference" in it..

Judging by the fact that all the Electro gays have now changed to Dubstep (following the usual trends) it probably will.
