Must admit, that is pretty........gay isnt the word.....Im not sure. Its certainly a gap in the market and they are exploiting it. I wont be buying it, fair play to them though.

Here is my label selling CDs for £7 and free p&p and they can charge £9 plus P&P for a calender :s The mind boggles!!

Well look we already have clothes, keyrings, cups and mousemats etc so tbh its just as bad as all that. Didnt hear anyone complaining then...........But still want to clarify that i think its selling out and completly commercialising hardcore even more than it already is.....

Hmm, i might have to agree with Wilky on this. Very gay. Christ, just when you thought the publicity whores of the Hardcore scene couldn't sink any lower. I can see it now. Whizzkid sat on a haystack in a field looking off into the middle distance for August. Hixxy in a PVC santa outfit for December. You're right gay isn't the word, it's something much more than that. I'm actually embarrassed to be associated with this farce that we call a scene.

I agree with this.

But, it doesn't surprise me. To be honest. It's just another long line of 'selling out' and squeezing everything the big artists can out of this scene to make some money. Squeezing what's left out of the market like some toothpaste bottle.

if it was pictures at the events of crowds, lazers etc. it really woudn't have been that bad. Sounds like one for the girls if it has a load of artist pics though. haha. Oh and Fingaz too cus thats how he rolls.

HappyHardcore.com had a calendar once, but silver had the decency to put hot woman on it

So we saw the day 6 years ago:
http://www.happyhardcore.com/forums/portal_news.asp?action=filter&year=2003&month=10

Edit: ...and nobody complaned then:

As far as the calendar goes, if they added hot ravers on it, id consider buying it.

Damn busted!

Was drunk last night when i posted about this and i now iv re-read the thing on FB and it has listings of all the events or something so it might be ok. And have to agree crowds etc would be a better idea than styles and the popcore crew posing for 12 photoes...

well, i like it. i think its a good idea.

i dont agree with the view that making something for money is always a bad thing. its a f*cking calendar and people are acting like this is the reason hardcore music is in the shitter (of course you'd have to actually agree with that statement in the first place). its just another promotional idea. why is it bad if i go to westfest, and instead of a t-shirt or a CD/DVD pack i buy a calendar. does this conflict with the calendar anyone else has in the works?

take it for what it is people. and that is a calendar. if darwin made one you'd all think it was a geneous cool new way of promoting yourself, and trying to make a little cash. trust me whizz aint breakin the bank with profits on this one anyway. although he might not do too bad.
Remember no one is forced to buy the calendar, buy spots for events, OR sponser a month. quite honestly i kinda think its all a very clever business idea

and yes i would buy one.

No. I'd think he were a twat too. Do you honestly not see how nuch of a cheap novelty this makes the music appear? Pop artists have calenders, Hollyoaks has a calender, page 3 girls have calenders (the latter i apporve of muchly). If the calendar is to be of Hardcore artists posing like boyband gayers then the whole thing is just embarrassing. No wonder people think Hardcore is a joke.

hmm calenders tend to be for charity/raise money or just pure profit
..im sure nobody would complain if it was for charity!?
in happyhardcore.coms case there are server fees etc etc to pay, i hear that isnt cheap over in japan either!

where does the money for this calender go?
