Unless you count the amount of smoke I have inhale because people like to just blow the smoke where ever they please.
Let's just say I've been arrested twice because someone blew their smoke in my direction with my niece. And I ended up pulling the knife I always carry out, yeah...fun.
I don't mind people smoking.
Smoke until your lungs crap out on you, I don't care. Just be courteous and don't disturb others with your habit.
you've got anger issues, but 2nd hand smoking is more dangerous than 1st hand
when i do smoke tho, i try and stay a good distance away from ppl cuz i kno there r ppl who do have a prob. i actually don't like 2nd smoke around me myself unless i'm smoking too. in the clubs , u can't avoid it so ppl shouldn't complain

You can't blame me when they provoke it, and she wasn't one yet.
She won't remember it.
They blew smoke, DIRECTLY in our direction. And when my brother said something, the people got in our face. Both me and brother carry a knife:
Mine:

I don't let people get in my face, especially when they're going to be a dick towards me when they blew smoke at my infant niece.
Again, I don't have an anger issue, unless you step in my face and try to act tough. And, even then, it's not an anger issue, it's defending myself. I carry it for a reason, not to be tough, to act like I'm cool, too defend myself. Because, AGAIN, you can't trust people, and know what they might do.
Self-defense isn't a crime, and I never actually attacked the people. Most don't want to get in a fight with someone with a weapon, and neither of those people did. But, both called the police on me saying I was threatening them when they stepped in my face and threatened me.
I got out both times from the local jail, because witnesses there told them what happened.
No shame here, they should of never blew smoke towards an infant.

oh im not passing judgement - i wasnt there, its always different when your IN the situation - im just suggesting that perhaps pulling a knife on someone because they blew smoke in your direction is a little extreme.

Never smoked. Never tried it & never going to either. Completely pointless disgusting habit.

Four years, and nope.
And I've had plenty of people get in my face.
The day I'll have to use it, is the day someone attacks me. Most, don't, because once they see a weapon, they back off.

Not when someone is getting in your face, threatening me and my family. I don't think so. It was some bald, fat guy that thought he was tough.
And it's my right to carry it, it isn't an anger issue where I've never had to use it before. I carry it for protection, like someone might carry pepper-spray.
Sorry; when you can put me in a place where someone might not try to mug me, steal my car, harm me, or anyone I know, then I won't carry a knife.
Too bad that'll never happen.

seriously where do u live???
since i don't have a car i walk a lot especially on some questionable neighborhoods and i've never had to run into a situation where i needed to have a knife just in case. and if i did live in a neighborhood like that, i'd quickly move. i don't put myself in a situation like that

At the time in Dearborn Michigan.
I've since moved with the lady, haven't had anyone get in my face yet.
Which is good, but apparently my brother telling him to smoke away from his baby set him off. And in turn got in our faces, and pushed us, so we responded back, pulling the knife out. Which scared him, and made him back off.
Then the police showed up later.
Either way, it did it's job. Scaring them, and making them get off our case.
Protection, having it, but never having to use it = win.

I'm with you. America is a ****ed up place (like much of the world), peope WILL try and **** you up if you can't defend yourself. So it's either a case of you carry a knife and defend yourself or they actually will **** you over (on the other hand you won't do the same to them). Really can't argue with that. The only possible issue i can see with it is that should the weapon somehow get into the hands of someone else then your screwed, but it's not likely of course.

^^ I knew there was a reason why I liked you.
Haha, sorry for hijacking the thread.
I just felt the need to defend myself, and not be called a dude with an anger problem.
