I could understand the 'moral loophole' in the case where both the label is defunct and the artist no longer produces, but he's said himself that the tunes on these CDs are recent. This guy needs a good slapping.

lol i just noticed the public domain thing. i bet by that he means t*****ts and other filesharing websites.
should i risk asking him what songs he has? or someone else go do it

i was going to say somthing of the same lines..
moreso that one single person on there own isnt going to spend £125,000 on hardcore
but its neither here nor there really, the point is, pulling that kind of shit on ebay is ****ed up
it takes 50 years for a piece of music to become public domain - and that is only if the copywrite isnt renewed.

meh, last i checked UK copywrite is 50 years till it becomes public domain if you dont renew copywrite

I actually learned this in school about a year ago. I believe for the US it's 75 years, but I can't be 100% certain.

i think you should just to see how recent some of his songs are. and then send his email address to every artist of the songs he's selling!

Thats not the point.....let me re-phrase....
Its £125,000 worth of music that is being used by people that havent bought it through the correct means. Wether they want a certain song or not, they are still now the owner of that song
