Because of his contract, it could cost £20m to sack him. Not going to happen.

If Wenger leaves/retires before the stadium is paid off then Arsenal will go the same way.
when he does eventually leave he will leave the club with there books balanced
and not wasted millions on over priced players like many other clubs in the league
Maybe, but will they have any trophies to show for it? I wouldn't bet on it.
On the other hand, they're financially secure. Is the long-term future of the club worth gambling for short-term success? It's only a matter of time before some serious financial regulations are put through football, and about bloody time I say.
The likes of Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea have obscene levels of debt. They are spending money they don't have, which is cheating in my book. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. The current level of money in the game is unsustainable and it will end up going belly up eventually.

They're only financially secure while they're in the top 4, if they missed a year of Champions League football it could be catastrophic.

Arsenal would cope. They're profitable, and well on the way to eradicating their debts. Liverpool on the other hand...well, they're in a right pickle if they don't make the top 4.
Football clubs need to get their acts together financially. The very leniant attitude of the banks to lend to them isn't going to keep up.
