It would, wouldn't it? Only problem is that they don't make the addons I need for opera. I got firefox in the first place to have as few windows as possible up.

what the addons do that you need? Opera has most things built in so that you dont need addons...

I did uninstall flash then restarted my computer and installed it again. That didn't work. Then I uninstalled firefox and installed it again. Didn't work either.
Now I tried safe mode. Did not work now either.

if you want to make a backup, just copy the %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox folder
%appdata% points to these folders:
XP: \Documents and Settings\User Profile\Application DataVista: \Users\User Profile\AppData\Roaming
I think there's an option during uninstall to remove those files as well? Personally I prefer a clean reinstall, for various reasons.

yes - but did you uninstall it using the uninstall tool? that i linked you too - because it wont fix the problem if you do it the regular way

Don't think it's the flash though, because I can play the youtube videos, I just can't hear what they're saying.

No sound from those either. Almost like I think my sound card broke, but when it works in IE, iTunes and Spotify I don't get it.
