Do you have Google Voice or Video installed?

Also, try out every step in this guide (make sure you follow it to the T): http://www.codecguide.com/fix_for_flash_sound_problems.htm

Never used Opera, is it good?

I'm partial to Firefox and Chrome, though, I really have no reason to have three browsers.

Or..do I?

Sorry, total Hijack question.

Opera didn't do very well. :(

Also, if you're wondering whether Opera is good or not, that's a personal choice, like what kind of music you enjoy. You'll have to try it out (and I mean actually try it out, read tips, instructions, use it for at least a day, etc.) and see if you like it or not.

Its the best. You dont need 3 browsers, only one, Opera ;)

Opera was the first (i think?) to have tabbed browsing, mouse gestures etc. It has eveything I need built in, in an easy to use interface. What Firefox is good, is a vast amount of addons, although a lot of the stuff that need addons on Firefox, are built in in Opera. Chrome is a piece of shite.

...and on other tests, ive seen Firefox rank below IE. TBH those tests are a bit pointless, whatever browser ive used, the times a site has been slow, it was because the site was slow, not my browser.

C:\Documents and Settings\%UserName%\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player"

C:\%appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
C:\%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player

Odd. Did you try typing those addresses into the Explorer location field (it's in any explorer window, exactly to the right of the back/forward buttons).

If that doesn't work, try these:
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Flash Player
C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player

I'm in step 3:
Empty your temporary files folder.

Use this command to empty your temporary files folder:
Start -> Run -> RMDIR /S /Q "%TEMP%"

When I write RMDIR /S /Q "%TEMP%" in run I get an error saying "Cannot find RMDIR..."

Edit: When reading I get a feeling that flash is not my problem here. Just seems very odd.

Actually I just realized, that command cleans out the temp folder which can be done from Disk Cleanup, only difference being that the option in Disk Cleanup doesn't delete anything that's been modified within the timespan of a week.

Try this:
  • Open up a command line (type cmd into the search field and hit enter).

  • Type this: rmdir /s /q "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Temp"
