im fairly sure that criteria are looked at before just choosing who SV want to win. record sales, artist popularity, live reactions, history at awards and a slew of other things are probably looked at.
there are SO MANY haters out there and you are all disagreeing with the voting masses, actual proof you are wrong on this particular subject. again your opinion of a category is valid, disagreeing with a large public poll, you might as well be arguing a landslide election, something often done, yet never a decsision has been reversed...

oh and its of my opinion that slammin vinyl shouldn't be allowd in an category. thats too suspicious for me
when the awards first started out it was an open ballot so whey shouldn,t it be now? to be honest its the biggest load of shite ever(and only in hardcore mind you)that they give you certain names and you have to pick from them its laughable,i didn,t bother voting this year are last(i think)
but they were great when it first started proper voting,it was new and hardcore kicked ass at the time,bring back them glory days!
Well Bounce Heaven has followed suit and do the same kinda thing for Bounce/scouse house....lol but if u did vote, u would realise that there was plenty of options to pick from and an OTHER box for you to type your choice in!!! fuk the haters lol!
but sorry winnin best track is a complete mystery 2 me.....
