You may or may not have heard of him, but he's being mentioned more and more.
Synthwulf is from Florida and is a freeform producer from the Nu Energy corner. And my god are some of his tracks great!
Tracks like the above are what hardcore should sound like.
If you want to hear more, check out the Nu Energy podcasts where he's done a couple of showcase mixes. Tracks like Star Ocean, Laugh at Life and his remix of Tripod are simply insane!

I don't consider anything based around a Trance lead 'fresh'. It might be better than the other Hardcore in the same style, but it's still nothing new really in that respect.

I thought this was about the recently reformed boyband

Goodbye is not forever is a much better tune from that EP. He is actually a really good producer.

He has great ideas, and I really like most of his tracks, but overall it's nothing spectacular. I prefer Ephexis as far as epic freeform goes.
Plus, the furry stuff just freaks me out. No offense guys, but Eternal Knot... :-/

Ephexis is by far my favorite freeform producer, talk about some tasty riffs. This guy doesn't nearly compare, but he's still a breath of fresh air considering how active the freeform aspect of hardcore has been of late.

I miss the times when you had Freeform on Bonkers, Hardcore Heaven and other various compilations all the time... Some of my favourites, like K Complex, don't seem so active these days... Let's Hope Oli G & Lost Soul revive the trend with their latest disc on HU4.
Synthwulf is interesting, but his stuff is a bit abstract for my tastes, kinda like most of Alek Száhala's stuff. I think that EP is quality though!

I think he's awesome. One of my favourite producers right now. Everyone really should check out his podcast to hear the full extent of his awesomeness.
The guys sound as hell too.

Synthwulf does awesome tunes, Goodbye is not Forever, Perceptual Space, Star Ocean, to name a few. His strength is in his harmonies and melodies. I'm pretty sure he's taken some music theory, and prolly some counterpoint as well.
In my opinion he's a fantastic producer, and some of his leads are based off of a supersaws because those tracks are PURIST FREEFORM! What do you expect?

He does some good music yea, but he's not exactly fresh air.
It's just that he uses the early sounds of Executive and Relentless Vinyl and makes it up to date n good... god I miss those days :(
He's what Kevin Energy used to be and isn't now
