This may be really dumb but i want to know, this is not to offend anyone!
Ok so over in the states almost everyone from the uk has bad teeth.... I dont know if its true, but it seems like anything and every thing about the uk has bad teeth. Its a stereotype i know, but it seems partly true, im not trying to be mean, i know people over here have really REALLY shity stereotypes...
But i have a question, why is this?
Is it the us just trying to make you guys look bad or something?
Im just confused about the stereotype...
Btw i love smiles bad or good, so this is just really interesting to me...
This isnt meant to be mean to anyone or anything, im just curious

there is a reason its called stereotyping.
in the 5 years i lived there in the states, i saw more bad teeth in illinois than i ever have in 20 years of living in england.
bottom line is the media and our shitty NHS making the news ever 5 months with poor standards and general uselessness.
that, and peoples magical ability to repeat what other people say, no matter what it is..lol

I bet more people in the US get their teeth artificially whitened. :P
I don't know anyone my age with what I'd call bad teeth. In the 60’s allot of people did have bad teeth but I guess it was the same in America then? Hippy movement, lack of tooth care knowledge, etc.

I think its just to see what people other than myself would think about it....
Its never meant in a bad way, i just want to see how "backwoods" the states are.
But this area dose have bad teeth, i mainly ask this whole thing cuz i really find girls smiles on of the most attractive feature, i dont know why but i do... im not saying you need perfectly aligned teeth, you can find beauty in anything...

I have no idea, really. Maybe a few Brits that went over had bad teeth and that just kinda stuck.
As with any stereotype, it will be true in some cases, but largely won't hold any standing. for instance, I'm from Scotland. I don't have ginger hair, I don't like haggis, I have only worn a kilt once in my life and I'm not an alcoholic.
On the British level, my teeth are fine. However, afternoon tea and scones would be just grand.

I have straight teeth... but i have a cavity forming, so im off to the dentist at 3... :(
Pretty much anyone without 'perfect' teeth has a brace where I'm from. its rare anyone young has bad teeth..
