I used to love all the New Monkey stuff, Turbo D, Tazo, Ace etc

you know I cant memba if he did the monkey. . . .i dont really recall but he probs did get on once or twice just before it closed. In the later years I just used to get there 10 mins before my set and then be out the door as soon as my last track finished so I never really got to see who else was on that night MC wise

haha yeah it was, MC Mel-OD haha, wicked! Certainly brings back some memories this music, I think New Monkey etc is probably what got me into fast dance music in the first place

From Bolton, never went to a New Monkey night or anything, I was too young lol, but I used to listen to it a bit :)

Yeah its a huge bounce area....thats pretty much all we have here, but I honestly dont know how I heard of it....I think i stumbled across one thing with the name 'New Monkey' in the title and just searched the net for more....I used to love MCing back then, still do in the case of Newcastle's finest and the bounce scene in Bolton and Wigan, just not in hardcore lol

ok i get you. i was on at bounce heaven the other week but couldnt make it unfortunatley.
and its been a few years now since the monkey closed, our scenes finally starting to slowly move on, and its about time!! but the music's still a little unsure. . . .some still clinging to the monkey stuff for dear life ha ha but hardcores starting to creep in, but thankfully only the good stuff and not the htid crap!!!

Yeah wasnt it like the northwest Vs Northeast in arena 2 at bounce heaven last week? I go to bounce heaven quite a bit, its a decent club 53 degrees.
