As you people have propably noticed, more and more british (mostly scotish) producers have started to produce more and more Makina. Most of the stuff isn't at par with the real spanish Makina (or japanese for that matter), but they're getting better and better. Good examples would be TripleXL.
Oh while I'm on the subject of Makina, check out IMOdownload, some really good tracks have finally starting to appear on there.

I don't exactly know who Decoy is, but TripleXL gets better and better. First time I heard him was a cheeky remix he did with Sidewinder called King Shit (a remix of Quicksilver's Belissima with some famous words from the movie Coming to America). TripleXL appears mostly on Japanese Hardcore combilation, but he's getting more stuff out on western labels, so if you get a chance to hear any of his tracks, please do :)

Gary's better tracks out on IMOdownload. Can't say I like his other stuff out on IMOdownload, but this sounds very well done. Using a resung version of Cranberries's Zombie, it's not that bad. I just keep missing those moanings the original singer did at the end of the track :P

A new name for me. This is so far the only track uploaded to a shop (he seems to have given out his other tracks), so this is the only track I've heard so far. Overally a good tune, except for the chopped off "Feel the beat and I make you move" vocals at the beginning and end. Could have removed it or keep the whole text, it just sounds wrong :s

dont got many tbh. Only one i have left is Dj10fld's 911 Chilli, which basicly got me into makina :)

decoy is a young lad from middlesbrough, i gave him his first sets a couple years ago. wayne (tripleXL) put an add out to people who want or have ideas about a choon but dont actually produce in any way shape or form to get in contact with him and he would engineer a track for them from their ideas etc for a fee of course.
the original of that track is

waynes a hell of a producer, pretty much has the sound nailed. i think makybe he and these other lads have caught on a bit late as the makina scene has died a death over the last few years. i was struggling to find new tracks to play in 2006, now decent new releases are few & far between for a style that has been battered to death in the north east at least. its popular in scotland now but they are behind on the northeast which is the region makina was introduced in this country really in around 1998.
we in the northeast are playing a mix of allsorts now, all the time we were makina based we turned our noses up at hardcore, but now hardcore is starting to creep in, but as with scotland and makina, us and hardcore are way behind the rest of the country who have been hardcore based for years now.
if your a makina fan then youtube or search audio from the new monkey in particular. i was resident there for 6 years and that was THE heartbeat of the northeast makina scene...the mc's might batter your head but there was some great choonz played in that club.
other event audio to check out are hangar13, energize & powerhouse......dj's nitro direct matrix chrissy-g scott carter quest. that should get you started nicely!

anyways, New Monkey has had some vinyl releases correct? I've heard they where illegal bootlegs tho, repressing tracks from other labels

Any idea what this tune is? Wanted to know for years lol but it's so far outside of UK Hardcore that i wouldn't even know where to begin on finding it. Brilliant tune though! Wish there was more like it, infact i don't think i know any others like it really. Also Breeze & Styles blatantly ripped it for 'I Will Be'.

I'm looking at signing some Spanish artists for next year for my label, as well as Triple XL. I might be the only UK label south of Newcastle releasing makina!
Spanish artists like Albert Roca & Raul Lokura are making the best stuff for me now, easy on the kazoo noises and basically Scott Brown 2003/4 style riffs with loads of punch. Amazing!

Lokura seems to have added some stuff on IMOdownload aswell, including DJ Brian Cross (it seems)

the in your head track could've been better if they hadn't just stuck to having a lead that just follows the vocal melody

Samination - since your in sweden, ill let you off then ha! regarding the new monkey releases...yes there were a few "monkey ep's" released and yeah you are correct in saying they were bootlegs. Many a rare choon were pressed on these ep's killing the value and peoples collections (my own included!!!) but many of the tracks were poor quality or had parts missing from the intro etc. so not very good quality in the main.
Hard2Get - ill check that link out tonight, cant listen at work. if its old makina style I should be able to help you out
and pretty sure both brain cross & droid are spanish...few older releases on uptempo. TripleXL is pretty much the top man here for the makina sound. dj scott releases some good stuff on his labels, alot of remixes but a little more up to date (naughty choonz, hangar13 records, rewind records)
