Hello, it's been a while since last :)
I was wondering if anyone from the US could do me a favour? I am having my eyes on the Zune HD 32GB media player, and it is only sold in the US.
Amazon.com has it for quite cheaply, namely $233.54
http://www.amazon.com/Zune-Video-MP3-Player-Platinum/dp/B002JPITY8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1272001056&sr=8-2 Now I was wondering if someone from the US could order one from Amazon and then send it to Finland by mail? (with "Gift" stamped on it to get through customs/toll rates). I'd pay for all the expenses and add a little bonus for the effort. :) Can I trust people here from HHC to do such a thing without pulling a scam? Would you trust someone from HHC to do it?

I just checked the prices for sending it to Finland,
"First-Class Mail International Package" = $9.04 (guessing the package weights around 280g/10oz).

It says 1 pound on amazon... which is like .4 kg off the top of my head.
The only complaint I have about the zune is that it doesn't connect to the internet in certain buildings on my campus at certain times, but that's probably the campus network rather than the zune. Unfortunately I'm already paying for housing next year.. can't order it for you. Why won't they ship internationally?

So that means the price for shipping is $10.76, which is not much considering it flies to other side of the globe :)
They won't ship it internationally because it is not yet released outside the US.
Thank you for the eBay link, but I don't really trust eBay, I'd rather have someone from HHC ship it by mail. :)
I don't know about the customs/toll if ordered through eBay, but if a package is sent as "Gift" (without the receipt) it will be custom/toll free.
Total cost would be: 233.54 plus 10,75 = $245 (185eu). And as I've said, there will be a bonus for the sender for his/her effort :)

There are companies that do forwarding, quick google found that:
http://www.yesship.com http://www.shipito.com/ http://mbex.net/ Not sure if its trustworthy, but if you google you should find forums where people recommend different sites. Not sure if they will set the value as zero though. Also even if it says gift, the customs might still get it. If i remember right e.g. DVDPacific writes gift on all their packages :P

actually i would trust eBay rather than some1 on this forum, unless you are very familiar with the reputation of a member on here.
with eBay you have the security of PayPal, and also you can check out the feedback that buyers have sent about the sellers. buyers sometiems forget to give positive feedback, but trust me they never forget to give negative feedback

Doesn't ebay bitch at you if you don't leave feedback about the products you buy?
Also, yeah, ebay is a good site, if you get a piece of shit paypal will get your money back.
