Its a tough decision for me as i agree with policies from BNP.. UKIP... lib dems and the tories... If only they all fitted into one..

However... I love controvsial stuff... Makes life more exciting... Plus i totally agree with most if not all the BNPs polices so its goin have to be them...

That may be so, but he's as much right to stand as anyone else does. Perhaps that's one of the downfalls of democracy, but I'll defend his right to stand should he so wish.

I'll be wasting my vote on one of the independent candidates. I say 'waste', as anything but Labour is a wasted vote where I live. They would vote Ian Huntley in if you stuck a red rosette on him, it's actually disgusting. Labour have done NOTHING for my area, but the clowns will still vote them in regardless.

I was going to waste my vote on the Conservatives to try and help them keep their deposit. However, after Cameron's horror show in the first debate, they can shove their deposit.

If so thats what im doing....

Mind you i hope the Tories don't get in, because apparently (this is what he said) My dad who has been classed as disabled for the last 25 years (he was hit by a truck and survived) will be forced back into work :S??

I dont know if thats true or not im not up on politics tbh....Anyone care to enlighten?

Thats an myth as far as I know. The Tories will clamp down on people who claim to be disabled to get out of work and claim more money but it won't effect people who can't work. Only the lazy people who commit fraud.

Kirkcaldy. It's actually Gordon Brown who's my MP.

I think the main problem with the Labour vote here is history. Kirkcaldy and the surrounding area was a big part of the mining industry. In fact, most of Fife was. Miners were by and large Labour voters, and I suppose they regaled their kids with the same scaremongering stories about the big bad Tories, so they all follow on and vote labour because their dad did.

As with most of Scotland and the North East of England, the Tories are dreadfully unpopular up here too. Many will vote Labour to try and keep the Tories out.

Unemployment is also slightly higher than the national average here, as it is for most post-industrial towns. Without meaning to generalise, these people are also going to prefer Labour: they'll view them as more generous through the welfare state.

It's annoying for me that they continue to back failure, but it's something I'll have to deal with.

there are a lot of those here in the US, as well as ppl who abuse welfare.

not trying to belittle anyone or any of your family and friends, but being disabled doesn't necessarily mean you are completely incapable of doing work. there is almost always something out there that you can do. but i don't look down upon anyone who chooses to collect disability, as long as they are fully qualified and aren't out to abuse the system.
