if you cant see the similaritys in that first level and the original sonics, then you clearly havent played them
**** all like...lol!
played every sonic game.. Got 1 to 3 saved on my wii
that looks cool, mind you nintendo did the same for the super mario bros wii game a while back, think they've realised that wandering around a 3D level on a few platforms is cool but you can't beat a full on 2D platform game :D
tales os symphonia 2 sounds wkd & also looking forward to zelda ( avid zelda fan )

None, because you just mentioned the only ones worth getting. And that's the problem with the Wii. Only has like 2-4 games worth getting and ALL of them are 1st party Nintendo titles. Xbox and PlayStation have great 3rd party titles and 1st party titles as well. The facts are, by NPD data, that your average Wii owner buys 2-4 games per console. While your average Xbox and PlayStation owner buys twice that amount at a ranger of 4-8 games per console.
In short, the Wii is great in the beginning, but when you beat those 2-4 games, it will be sitting on the shelf until the next "Mario, Link/Zelda, Metroid" come out.

honestly our wii gathers just as much dust as our PS2 lol
being able to play gamecube games is a great advantage (not to mention the virtual console games too) much better than rigging the laptop up to the tv to play emulators lol.
I would say we use the Wii more to watch BBC Iplayer - United States wont have that option though, most of my family have given up paying the tv license and now just watch TV via the Wii.

also - how does working at gamestop for 3 years suddenly give you epic insight as to what he might enjoy playing on the wii lol
sounds like over half the people in this thread would have better sales figures than you at gamestop if they worked there! :P

also to point out Wii has a lot of family oriented games, and as far as i kno not many families shop for video games at gamestop. they buy them at much larger retailers like best buy, walmart or even target.

well compared to the xbox and ps3, yoko has a point. But then I tend to like Zelda Mario and Metroid so they're the games i have, and an odd Okami here an there :P

one of the games i really liked on the Wii and bought and played it was No More Heroes. It's pretty much 1 of the very few games from Wii that has violence, sexual content and harsh language. It's worth renting it's pretty good the original and sequel Desperate Struggle have been rated on average B or above.
o and i'm surprised none of you have mentioned Smash Bros Brawl that was an awesome game.

Cheers for all the suggestions guys. Deffo interested in Sonic and Marvel vs Capcom! Will be getting those.
That's over 10 games I want already then! Not even scratched the surface of looking at what's already out either. They do need a Mega Man for Wii though, definitely. :) I would quite like another Pikmin too, love those games on the Cube.
I have a 360 already and I've gotta confess I'm more excited about what's coming up on the Wii... I had like 25-30 games on my Cube so I wouldn't say Nintendo consoles don't have many decent games for them either. All down to personal tates though I guess. Just wish there was more RPG's on Nintendo consoles.
